What we collect

• Identity and contact details: name, designation, organisation, email, mobile number, city/country.
• Professional details you provide in a registration or enquiry form (industry, area of interest, purpose of visit, company profile, resume where you upload one).
• Transaction details for paid registrations: billing name, address, GSTIN/tax ID and payment confirmation; card and bank details are processed by our payment gateway and are not stored by us.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and cookie identifiers (see Cookie Policy).
• Photographs and video taken at the Event venue.

How we use it

• To process your registration, issue your badge and communicate event logistics (including via email, SMS and WhatsApp).
• To issue tax invoices and meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
• To run the Event safely, including access control and security at the venue.
• To send you information about India Mining Week and related Informa Markets events, products and services, where you have consented or where permitted by law; you can opt out at any time.
• To share your business contact details with the co-organisers, and with exhibitors, sponsors or partners whose stand or session you visit or scan into, so they can follow up with you.
• To analyse and improve the website, our marketing and the Event.

Who we share it with

• The Ministry of Coal, the Ministry of Mines and MGMI as co-organisers.
• Our registration, payment, email and event-technology service providers acting under contract.
• Exhibitors, sponsors and partners as described above.
• Professional advisers.
• Government, regulatory or law-enforcement bodies where required by law.

Where data is transferred outside India, we do so in line with applicable law and with appropriate safeguards.

Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and to meet legal, tax and regulatory requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Marketing data is kept until you opt out.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf. You may raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer at krish.khanna@informa.com and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India. We will respond within the timelines required by law.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted transmission and access controls, to protect your data. No online system is fully secure and you share information at your own discretion.

Children

The Event and this website are intended for persons aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes and contact
