Mining's next decade will be built by people — engineers solving real operational problems, leaders steering safer and more sustainable operations, and young professionals bringing new ideas to an old industry. The IMW Excellence Awards exist to name those people publicly, put their work in front of the peers and investors who can take it further, and set a visible standard for what leadership in Indian mining looks like.
About the Ceremony
Held on the closing evening of India Mining Week 2026, the Excellence Awards bring together ministers, industry leaders and delegates for a formal dinner and awards presentation across eight categories. Nominations are reviewed by an independent panel drawn from industry, government and academia, and winners are announced live on stage.
